The problem it solves

“I want to spell more words better. I'm tired of typing a document with so many red lines under the words I type — and I want to understand words more.”
Spell turns that frustration into practice: a clear voice reads a word, you spell it from sound alone — by typing, speaking, or writing it by hand — and after each one you see its meaning and a sentence. Missed words return on a spaced schedule under Misses, Hint and per-difficulty stats are always on, plus achievements to keep you coming back, Kid and readable modes in Settings, and a drawing pad with pen/line/eraser tools and letter guides for handwriting practice.
How it works: press the orb to hear a word, then type, speak, or draw its spelling — a meaning appears after each answer, and misses return over days under ↻ Misses. Everything is free. English words are read aloud by your word server; import your own under ＋ My words to practice anything, spoken with your browser's voices — smoothest in Chrome or Edge on a computer. Progress is saved in this browser only.
